I had a Sunbonnet Sue quilt when I was little (that's 90+ years ago). Unfortunately, I have no idea what became of it. I guess my kids are lucky because they won't have to find a place for it.
That is so special, Barbara! Do you know who made it for you? It would have been a relatively new quilt block pattern back then ... I wonder whether it was the same as our Sunbonnet Sue, or if the shape of the little girl was slightly different, and what the colors were like. I don't know exactly when ours was made.
